Members of the current Board of Directors joined NACOPRW-SoCal to meet other Puerto Rican women who wish to celebrate our heritage and support women, mentor young women, and help our communities in Southern California and on the Island of Puerto Rico.


PRESIDENT - Anaida Colon
Originally from Puerto Rico she was raised in New York City and has lived in Southern California for over 35 years. Anaida has a doctorate in education. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and is retired as Professor Emerita for Chapman University in Orange, California.
FIRST VICE-PRESIDENT - Marjorie Patton
Originally from Puerto Rico and has lived in Southern California for 15 years. Marjorie has master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Carlos Albizu University in Puerto Rico. She works as a Human Resources Professional, Certified Coach, and Organizational Development Strategist.



SECOND VICE-PRESIDENT - Gloria San Miguel
Originally from Puerto Rico she has lived in Southern California for 24 years. Gloria has a master's degree in business administration from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras and currently works in Customer Service as a Workforce Specialist for Behr Paint Company.
SECRETARY - Marie Nubia-Feliciano
Originally from Puerto Rico she was raised in California. Marie has a doctorate in education from Chapman University, Orange, CA and currently teaches at Chapman University and the University of California, Irvine, and is CEO of The Colégas Group.
TREASURER - Sonia Colon Lamas
Originally from, Puerto Rico and raised in New York City, she has lived in Southern California for almost 40 years. Sonia has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from University of Phoenix and is retired from General Motors as a Sales and Acquisition Analyst and as a Finance Director for an Automotive Dealership.
